Shivaprakash is a fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, having more than a decade of experience in financial reserach. He leads the valuation practice of the firm.

He is a Registered Valuer under the category Securities or Financial Assets from Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI). He specializes in valuation of business, due-diligence, making startups fit for investor funding, financial analysis of unlisted and listed companies, competitor benchmarking and sector analysis. He has done business valuation assignments for various startups and mid size companies. He has also successfully completed the Certificate Course on Valuation conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He works closely with start-ups for business set-up, advising them on business structuring; also helping them comply with statutory compliance requirements under various laws.

In his previous role, he headed the Customer Success team at Probe Information Services (formerly Probe Equity Research). Prior to this he was a senior analyst at Probe, writing and editing financial research reports on Indian companies for top PE / VC clients and credit reports for large banking clients in India. He has also tracked global airline companies and written airline sector specific research reports which were used by an international specialist banking and asset management group.

Shivaprakash is an Executive Committee member of the Karnataka State Chartered Accountants Association (KSCAA). He has also been a speaker at professional forums on Business Valuation.
